| ISSUE - 2 hedges of 50m are crossing on a parcel How many EFA m² do we have to count in this situation? | REPLY - If a Member State has chosen to use the established area for hedges then the overlapping part of the crossing hedges has to be deducted when including hedges in the EFA layer. The total established area should not exceed 100% of the total effective area of the hedge. If a Member State has chosen to use the conversion factors for hedges then the length of the different crossing hedges has to be taken into account and no overlap is to be deducted. |
