| Case name - Unclear boundary forest and ditches | |
| ISSUE - RP mapped based on orthoimage 2009 (Ref.area = 8.288 m2) T RP has a boundary with forest on the west and with ditches on al the other boundaries. When judging the delineation during update with aerial image 2013 the operator observes that the boundaries at the forest and at the south of the parcel are not mapped accurately. The area difference between old and new mapping is 238m2. In percentage: 3,96%. Only at the southwest corner at the forest the difference between delineation exceeds 2.5m. | REPLY - In accordance with Article 5(3) of Regulation (EU) No 640/2014 the Member State shall ensure that the MEA per reference parcel is correctly quantified within a margin of maximum 2%, thereby taking into account the outline and condition of the reference parcel. Therefore, if the difference is more than 2% an update of LPIS is needed. |
