| ISSUE - Can we use canalized river for drainage as a ditch? Using aerial images or field visit there are the same problems to identify differences between canalized river and ditch | REPLY - In accordance with Article 45(4)(g) of Regulation (EU) No 639/2014, Channels with walls of concrete shall not be considered as potential ecological focus area. Therefore the canalised rivers have to be excluded from the potential EFA and cannot qualify as an EFA. |
