| ISSUE - A EFA feature is between 2 parcels.Would the whole feature count if there was a grassland field on the other side and/or the land on the other side was not owned by the farmer. | REPLY - A landscape feature like a hedge that fulfils all the criteria for an EFA may be declared by different beneficiaries depending of the proportion of the hedge they have 'at their disposal'. Any double declaration of area is not allowed. The total declared area of each EFA by the two different beneficiaries should never go beyond the total area of the EFA. Please note that where on the same farmer has arable land at both sides of the hedge, in respect of the declaration of EFA the hedge may be totally taken into account. |
