Case name - EFA assigned to an hedge or trees in line at the border of the parcel
ISSUE - Assume we have an hedge or a tree line of 50m The hedge or trees in line is along the parcel, a road is boarding the parcel on the other side of the hedge. How many EFA m² do we have to count in this situation ? REPLY - This landscape feature should be included in the EFA-layer because it is considered to be a potential EFA unless national/regional rules prevent it to be at the disposal of a farmer. It may be totally declared by a single beneficiary provided that the feature is fully at his disposal. In the case of a hedge please note that it could be limited to 50%. The surface declared as EFA could indeed be the length * conversion factor * weighting factor if they are applied.
